Rosalind Franklin was what can only be called an overlooked genius. Although she was not fully credited for the feat at the time, her work led to major breakthroughs in our understanding of DNA. In fact, she took the first X-ray photo of DNA in all of its double helix glory. By the time her former colleagues were being showered with accolades for results they made at least partially based on her findings, Franklin would not be around to see it. Sadly, it’s believed that her use of X-ray equipment gave her terminal cancer, cutting her life short at age 37.

Royalty revealed
Of course, we all love to read about the lives of royalty and what we assume is the glamor of living that lifestyle. I love this summary as it shares the behind-the-scenes trials and tribulations of three royal influencers from the industrial revolution through the digital age and everything in between. Love, strife, loss, conflict, tears, and joy..... the life of royalty is not as glamorous as one would think and the pressures that go along with it are probably more than the average person can bear. My heart goes out to Prince Harry and his family for the burden he must carry being a royal and for the legacy he will pass on to his children.
While all of the stories are compelling and interesting, it is Prince Harry's story I am most eager to learn more about in the original book. This summary has given me a taste of what it means to be royalty.

Wow! We often fantasize over royalty and speculate how glamorous it is, but never truly realize the burden, stress and responsibility that come with being royal. This audiobook highlights the lives of Prince Harry, Prince Philip and Prince Albert. Anybody interested in learning more about the lives of English royalty (specifically these princes) should get this audiobook.
