intriguing

really enjoyed this one. I'm just left wondering couple thing about what's going to happen. Also wondering what happened to Quoths injury. He got hurt during the fight protecting Mina yet later he was fine. Mina's mother drives me a bit insane with the way she treats her and how everyone seems to dislike Heathcliff because of his skin tone. I kept wanting Mina to tell her mother she was dating Heathcliff instead of Mortey just to shock her.

Not only does Mina and her three guys have another murder or so to solve, they have a new fictional character to deal with. FUN, FUN AND MORE FUN! This series shares the love of what bookstores and books mean to me with characters coming to life, which just add to the appeal. Read or listen to this series.

This audiobook is a fantastic continuation to the series! The narrator does a wonderful job and the book is so well written, I can’t get enough. It’s the perfect mix of cozy mystery, paranormal & RH, with a dash of Doctor Who. I need more!

I really enjoyed this new character and expansion of characters

I enjoyed this but if heathcliff and mory are from different time periods they seem to adapt with no problem. how is mory so computer savvy who taught them. but sounds like they still dress like their characters which wouldn't fit modern times. she's supposed to be punk but cover doesn't fit. how is quaf a man and know how to do man things if he was only a bird in the books.
And I get Lydia was annoying but they let her go off and join the army to find a man without telling her what joining military means in modern world. she is only 16 she couldn't join. she's a child in modern world not able to be out in the world and take care of herself. she had no money.. did mory just give her a cc? but she won't find man to meet her standards in modern world because men aren't wealthy like that any more

Loving this series, it just keep getting better!!

Mina and her men continue to figure out their feeling while she combats coming to grips with her vision getting worse faster than originally expected. Add to that the arrival of the newest book character pulled by the bookstore and an Invite to a Jane Austen regency event by the couple she assisted in clearing the names of in the previous murder and this is going to be a long weekend. But Mina discovers her penchant for finding murder victims continues as two more bodies are discovered at the even and a jewel thief is on the loose. Can she figure out what’s going on before she becomes the next victim?? Listen and find out!! Truly a fun and exciting series and the spice is getting hotter with each read!!

Don’t know how I managed to finish this….

Not sure how I managed to finish this but I did. The author sounds like she has a lisp and is cringy to even try to listen to. The book is basically just a half-@SS mystery with a weird reverse harem thing going on. Don’t waste your time

Getting worse

The first book was good - not great, but good. Book 2 upped the sex, and it lost appeal. I decided to try Book 3 and it’s a solid NO for me. The story itself is ok, but the sex is over the top and completely unnecessary. I won’t be try any more.

Cute series

I hate when I guess the killer right away. It was a good story though. However, I absolutely can not stand Mina’s mom.
