Enchanting story and performance

Great performance of a classic novel. Although I've read it may times the narration made it fun and new again.

I love listening to this audio book. I was so entertained by it. I imagine the characters in it and the voice of the reader was very pleasant to listen to I would listen to it again. Great job. Recommend it very much.

Excellent reader!

I listened to this book on my walks since has been many years ago that I read it. I thoroughly enjoyed the way the narrator read the story. I felt like I had gone back in time to when it was written and could picture it all so well.

A Very Enjoyable Revisiting of a Classic

Since originally reading Pride and Prejudice a year and a half ago I had wanted to revisit the book but loathed trying to push myself through all the dense language. So, when I got my prime membership the first thing I saw in benefits was free audiobooks and that got me to search to see if P and P was on the list. Lo and behold it was, and here we are. The performance was great overall, however the recording quality was not the best or most consistent throughout. I can largely excuse that though since I technically got this for free and thoroughly enjoyed it anyways. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to revisit the classic but doesn't want the struggle of reading though the dense language. Jane Austen's writing is a delight to revisit all over again in this new formfactor!

Finding Love

I truly enjoyed this book. I do wish there were others depicting each character but overall wonderful.

Narration Monotonous

Although very fond of the book, an old friend of mine, the narrator droned on and on. She was expressive in intonation, but she had difficulty keeping my attention, since nearly all the characters sounded the same, with the exception of Mrs. Bennet, the Mother, and even she was hard to distinguish from other elderly ladies. Lady Catherine, was done well, I have to admit. The most problematic was that It was hard for me to tell the difference between men and woman, and men in general. Especially disappointing was Darcey. Having grown used to your other excellent readers, who stand out as character actors in their own right. I usually enjoy the readers so much, I was especially disappointed in this one.

My New Favorite Book!

Wow! Wow! Wow! This is officially my new favorite book. Amazing, entertaining, lovely and captivating. A book to read more than once. Love it!

A classic , still so delightful to “read”

I have read this book at least 2 times in the distant past, but it was good to read it again after having seen the latest movie of it several times. The movie is good, but I am again reminded that “the book” is always better, even when it was written so long ago!

The narrator reads way too fast.

If you're looking for a super fast reader to get through what you think is a long book, she does this very well.

I prefer to hear someone at a more natural and inviting speed.
