Jenni always makes such great Jane Austen adaptations!- well except for Northanger Alibi.
this books is so sweet, and though Taylor isn't exactly a replica of Mr. Darcy, she did a great job with following her he plot of Pride and Prejudice. plus Chloe is very similar to Elizabeth Bennett. loved this book. just wish it wasn't read by virtual voice

Sweet, modern high school version

Loved the story and it kept close to the original story with modern twists. I don’t love the virtual voice but I do like that it is bringing more books to audible.

If you can get past the Computerized voice, it is a really good book

I am always up for a reimagined version of Pride and Prejudice. It actually works pretty good as an adolescent tale. The author allowed her to be inspired by Jane Austin without trying to copy cat, giving the story a unique twist that gave it an unpredictable element. I don’t like computer voices to begin with, but it got particularly confusing when there was phone dialogue and I couldn’t tell who was saying what because the computer reads both characters the same. Hire some actors to do it right.

Brilliant Retelling

I've loved this book for years and was thrilled to see it was *FINALLY* an audiobook. The narration isn't bad for AI and the story is brilliant and amazing. Jenni did a phenomenal job with this retelling. Well worth the time and effort to listen!
