Best friends that are meant to be so much more; distance may separate them but destiny pulls them back together.
Though childhood friends Austin and Matthew came from vastly different backgrounds, they had an impenetrable bond that only deepened when Matt kissed Austin in the high school locker room. Though they kept their affection for each other private, Austin and Matthew were happy to have found love with each other. But this love is put to the test when tragedy strikes and Austin and Matt are forced to part ways.
Nine years may pass but neither man can forget his first love. As their lives continue on two very different paths, both feel the ache from missing their other half - an ache that career success and other relationships cannot fulfill. But when a chance meeting brings them back together, will their childhood love survive the journey into adulthood? Or has the passage of time pulled them too far apart?
Prescription for Love is a gay standalone romance with a HEA and explicit scenes.

The next problem was the abrupt change in POV from first to third person. It may have happened more than once but where I caught it was in Chapter 6 of the book (I think it was Chapter 7 in the audiobook). Right before the end of the chapter the POV switched back to first person. I don't know anything about audiobook production but it seems like the narrator would have noticed this and said something to the author about it. If that happened and the author ignored it then shame on him.
There are a lot of reviews on Amazon and Goodreads that give details about the story so I'm going to limit my review to just my comments about the audiobook except to say that since this was a short story there's not a lot of time to develop the characters so I was OK with the story itself.
Not bad, but has issues.
