In the ultimate issue, prayer is simply faith, claiming its natural yet marvelous prerogatives - faith taking possession of its illimitable inheritance. True godliness is just as true, steady, and persevering in the realm of faith as it is in the province of prayer. Moreover: when faith ceases to pray, it ceases to live. Faith does the impossible because it brings God to undertake for us, and nothing is impossible with God.

Awsome Resource
As a beginner in exploring the act of prayer, I found this book very instructional. It provided me with a foundation in prayer based on biblical praying men. I was able to implement these principles immediately as well as share them in my leadership of my church's Men's Ministry. In the beginning I had trouble understanding the style of the writing. Once my mind was quiet, it flowed very well.

Great Book!
E.M. Bounds give great insight into prayer and it's powerful effects. The only thing about this listen is that Simon Vance did so great reading God's Smuggler and Dorien Ellis did such a tremendous job reading the last E.M. Bounds book it was hard to get the same effect from the calmer Simon Vance as I did in Power through Prayer.
I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about the essential-ness of prayer and what it can do in your life.
