Power hungry has to be one of my favourite reads of the year. new spin on supernatural romance and a rich setting filled with characters who have genuine chemistry. I literally couldn’t put it down! The protagonist is so real you can’t help but cheer her on. Overall hilarious and touching and steamy at all the right times.

Whimpy FMC Play Acting at Being Strong

I couldn't have disliked this FMC more. She is whiney about everyone making decisions for her but she never commits to standing up for herself. she rolls over and takes it from everyone. If you're going to write a submissive FMC, who just does what everyone around her says, that is more than fine! But if you are going to write a strong FMC then give her a dang backbone! The virtual voice was OK, there are definitely some words that it mispronounced and when there is a scene change mid chapter there is no pause from the end of one paragraph to the next so it is a little discombobulating but overall it was fine listening to it.
