Another Winner for Craig Beck

Power Decoded is a great read (or listen) overall. Craig cover several different aspects of how we humans use certain skills to get what we want. Some of us do these things without knowing exactly what we are doing. And others of us know exactly what we are doing and how we are doing it to get what we want from others.

As a long time student of self-help, sales & marketing, and studying the conundrum known as human behavior, I recognized many of the aspects that the author goes over. And at just over 5 hours Mr. Beck is not able to do any real deep dives into each of the topics he covers, But, he does explain them enough to make you go... Hmmm... or OK, I get it now! Also, Craig's narration style is easy to listen to and he writes in a way that the average person will understand what he is talking about.

In summary I recommend this read. Especially if you have ever been curious about how and why we do what we do. Personally, I am going to listen to this book a few times with the intention of learning more on each of the topics covered.

I wish I read this 20 years ago

I thought this might be an interesting read. I was not expecting to find this one of the most insightful books I’ve ever read - twice.

Craig Beck sheds light on some unpleasant truths (ones I had suspicions of and needed someone else to articulate) but also offers remedies and perspective that you can immediately use.

This felt like someone else with a propensity to (eventually) sidestep landmines personally imparting wisdom and providing a cheat code for those who aren’t naturally politically minded.

I love Craigs analogies taken from history.

Craig's lessons and thoughts, taken from his own personal experiences has been a great help. Some of the ideas he expressed, I have all ready experienced, and learned by my own mistakes. Other ideas I will take his advice and avoid making wrong decisions. Thank you Craig. Another book well written. Learning some good life's lessons and being entertained at the same time was fun. A good listen. I recommend this book.
