Why do some people get exactly what they want, while you do everything right and still end up overlooked, outmanoeuvred, and left behind?
It was never luck. It was never talent.
Beneath every room you walk into runs a hidden game of power, and most people never even see the board. They are influenced, manipulated, and held back by forces they cannot name, then blame themselves for losing a game nobody ever taught them to play.
Power Decoded ends that.
Bestselling self-help author Craig Beck takes you deep into the psychology of influence, persuasion, and human behaviour, and lays bare forty-eight secret strategies the powerful have used for centuries: exactly how they work on you, and how to turn them to your own advantage.
Inside, you will learn to:
- Read people accurately, often before they say a single word
- Spot manipulation and emotional pressure the instant it begins
- Dissolve the limiting beliefs and blind spots keeping you stuck
- Wield calm, ethical influence in your work, your relationships, and your own mindset
This is personal growth with an edge. No slogans, no filler, just the hard psychology of power turned into tools you can use today.
You can keep playing a game you do not understand, and keep losing to the people who do.
Or you can finally see the board.
The power was always there. You were simply never shown where to look.

As a long time student of self-help, sales & marketing, and studying the conundrum known as human behavior, I recognized many of the aspects that the author goes over. And at just over 5 hours Mr. Beck is not able to do any real deep dives into each of the topics he covers, But, he does explain them enough to make you go... Hmmm... or OK, I get it now! Also, Craig's narration style is easy to listen to and he writes in a way that the average person will understand what he is talking about.
In summary I recommend this read. Especially if you have ever been curious about how and why we do what we do. Personally, I am going to listen to this book a few times with the intention of learning more on each of the topics covered.
Another Winner for Craig Beck

Craig Beck sheds light on some unpleasant truths (ones I had suspicions of and needed someone else to articulate) but also offers remedies and perspective that you can immediately use.
This felt like someone else with a propensity to (eventually) sidestep landmines personally imparting wisdom and providing a cheat code for those who aren’t naturally politically minded.
