Summer has officially hit Oakhaven, bringing triple-digit Georgia heatwaves and an absolute boom in vintage swimwear sales. Becca Sterling, vampire and Top-Rated online reseller, is ready to survive the season the only way she knows how: nocturnal scheduling and avoiding the sun at all costs.

To help her beat the heat, her monster-hunting boyfriend Dan Miller builds a backyard pool, complete with a custom purple coffin float and a strict "No Biting, No Sun" rule policy. But Miller’s attempt to save a few bucks by sourcing a secondhand water pump from a shady 2000 Fleetwood Bounder motorhome over at the Fair Harbor RV Park comes with a massive, supernatural catch.

The pump is haunted by a glowing, neon-green, snorkeling spirit who treats Becca’s new sanctuary like a frat party. Chad the Pool Ghoul won’t stop splashing ectoplasm onto her pristine NWT (New With Tags) inventory, and he’s dropping the pool temperature to freezing. With her True Crime podcaster neighbor getting suspicious of the eerie green glow in the backyard, Becca and Miller have to track down the RV park necromancer who cursed the pump.

If they don’t evict their aquatic squatter soon, Becca’s summer hustle—and her hard-earned relaxation—are going right down the drain.
