POETIC JUSTICE is the story of a hired killer who loves poetry in the changing American West of the last days of the 19th Century. The first part of the novel is the story of Petit Jean, born in the Indian Territory of Oklahoma from a French mother and Irish father recently discharged from the army. After tragedy strikes his family in a dusty Saloon, Petit Jean is sent back east to live with his Uncle George who runs a Bordello in the corrupt Manhattan waterfront. During his time there he meets the acclaimed poet Walt Whitman who has an indelible impact on his life. The second half is the story concerns Petit Jean’s metamorphism into John Little, a highly paid assassin who reads Whitman while preparing to ruthlessly kill his adversaries and seeking the solace of cold revenge. Written by acclaimed international singer/songwriter Elliott Murphy, POETIC JUSTICE is the story of an American Hamlet of the old West. Género Ficción Westerns Viejo Oeste Salvaje Oeste
