Acerca de esta escucha
Plain Secrets is a standalone, full-length Amish romantic suspense novel that can be read and enjoyed on its own. However, fans of the Hunters Ridge series will enjoy catching up with characters from previous books who will make brief appearances in this latest installment.
Meanwhile, back in Hunters Ridge:
Lavina Yoder never felt like she belonged in the Amish community of Hunters Ridge. When she finally gathers up her nerve to "jump the fence," her plans go awry when the young woman she's supposed to leave with goes missing. Now, Lavina's forced to delay her departure.
Widower Samuel Mast returned to Hunters Ridge a year ago as penance for his wife's death in the Outside world. He's living a solitary life when he discovers Lavina waiting alone at night in a thunderstorm and offers her a ride.
Samuel invites Lavina to stay with him and his aunt until she locates her friend. It soon becomes apparent that the woman's disappearance has little to do with cold feet. As more time passes, Lavina and Samuel grow closer.
Can they find Lavina's friend safe and protect their hearts?

It was a great story!
It caught and kept my attention from the beginning. I’m not crazy about the automated narration but otherwise it’s great!
