Funny and heartfelt family antics have kept viewers tuned in for three seasons, but now Maria, the matriarch of the Pietro’s Pizza family wants to up the ante with a contest, offering her son in a Bachelor fashion, with a million-dollar bounty.
Mandy is a nurse who loves kids. Her parents foster quite a few and her father has a dream of a multi-purpose building to house and care for them. He needs money, and his daughter is in a unique position to bring it in.
When Maria offers Mandy a chance to be a contestant for the reality show, she feels compelled to accept out of compassion for the foster kids and to thank Maria for her generosity to them. What she expects is to be booted the first night, having fulfilled her obligations without guilt.
