Young adult and finances is very important. When we have our teenagers we need to set their base of life by teaching them what they need to know and go about it. Money management is very essential in life. It is good for all to read this book. The author has done a great job in putting it together easy to read and understand.

Our future generation needs this kind of skillset

I am so glad to see this kind of audiobook being presented to our younger set. Teenagers are our future and they need a basic understanding of finances to assure their own success and that of those they must deal with every day. This book offers just that. It's easy to understand and right to the point. And it covers a lot of ground. I certainly wish I had this information when I was trying to make sense of the world.

Great Resource, not just for the young

I wish I'd read this book long ago and I could have avoided many problems financially. This book is great for understanding how to manage money and how financing works. I think the second chapter is important because we all have our own ideas about money that are false and we need a new mindset to help us start fresh with a better thought process when it comes to financial matters. When I was young, planning for the future as far as money management goes, didn't really exist. Even though I am not a young adult, I enjoyed this book and learned several new things.

Get this for your child before they get out of high school and they will be much better prepared.

I wish I'd had this information when I was in high school. No one really talked about finances with their kids at that time. R.M. Collective introduces the basics of personal finance in an easy-to-understand, simple, and effective guide that teaches young adults all aspects of money basics and beyond. The author discusses financial terminology and offers suggestions to help the listener cultivate the mindset necessary for lifelong financial success. Chapter 7, Own Your Own House, had some interesting statistics on women as homeowners and other commonly held misconceptions of women as property owners and their role in the workforce and society in general. Very interesting stuff, and empowering too.

There was a quote from Thomas Edison at the beginning that talked about how often good fortune happens when opportunity meets preparation. This audiobook breaks down in simple steps and detailed observations the best ways to achieve and maintain financial freedom.
