On the Flathead Indian Reservation, summer is ending, and Louise White Elk is determined to forge her own path. Memories of Indigenous people gone

The book Permared reflects on the experiences of Native nations the lost their lives to boarding schools and those who used the power of their ancestors to survive. This story was amazing to push up emotions of recognizing that the indigenous peoples are survivors and dealt with racism to try and be their own person. Outstanding story line and creative storytelling. Phidamayaye (thank you)

The reality and spirituality of the story

I loved how well this story was described, it shares a real and very raw side of what native women go through to this day.

The hopelessness

I liked that it kept moving, kept me interested. Well written, rather harsh, but great characters and well written.

The ending

Loved the whole story. Great realizations of life changes and experiences. Would make a good movie to watch. They should consider making it into a movie.
