This isn’t one of those books that just tells you to “think positive” or “stop worrying.” Every strategy in here is backed by real psychology and research, so you know it actually works. I found the book was well researched and flowed well. The narrator was easy to listen to. Overall, I found this book very well intentioned and a great listen.

This is an amazing audiobook about how being a perfectionist is related to anxiety. I related very much so with the authors personal story and found it helpful to know that I am not alone on my journey. I definitely felt inspired with some of the learned behaviors, such as delegating tasks And kind of rethinking when things are OK and aren’t OK. For whatever reason a lot of us learned to be perfectionist early on in life and it’s a hard habit to break, especially when it leads to anxious behavior. But this book does teach that progress does not happen overnight but with small successes and small steps forward, you can achieve some great results. Chock full of good info and exercises to facilitate change.

I wish I had read this sooner. I didn't realize how closely connected perfectionism and anxiety are related but it really hit home when I read it. I don't want to wake up every day and feel anxious about all the things I should be doing, and that's where this book is excellent. It gives hope that through practice, you don't have to live this way and instead thrive in a calm environment. Two thumbs up.

I’ve always struggled with perfectionism, but I never realized how much it was connected to my anxiety. This book explained it in a way that made so much sense. The strategies are simple and practical, which made it easier to apply to my daily life. I liked that it wasn’t just theory—it actually gave steps to help break the cycle. If you tend to overthink and put too much pressure on yourself, this is definitely a helpful read!
