Reseñas editoriales

Live at the 92nd Street Y has been showcasing some of the most thought-provoking lectures and entertaining productions for the past decade. This episode, featuring the Nobel Prize-winning economist and The New York Times op-ed columnist Paul Krugman, is another fine example of their inspiring catalogue. Joining Krugman is journalist David Brancaccio, and together the two present a wildly engaging conversation covering such things as the Bernie Madoff scandal, Krugman’s Nobel Prize, and various other topics concerning the current economic climate.

Excellent retrospective

Paul Krugman is a font of knowledge and David Brancaccio is a marvel in the art of the interview. The conversation is about lessons learned from the financial collapse of 2008 and a discussion of the needed goal posts for the Obama stimulus package. The views expressed are an important voice in America’s path on the road to financial recovery and in the principles of good governance. With each passing year, these discussions provide more of an historical perspective than insightful reporting on the inner workings of Wall Street and Washington.
