Callie is bringing up her two young sons, the only way she knows how. It isn't easy being a single mum, dealing with all the aftermath surrounding the death of her husband, who everyone assumes was an honorable soldier. Now her best friend believes she needs to start living a bit more. So she sets her up on a blind date without telling her. It has been years since Callie dated and she's not sure she is ready to put herself out there again. Eddie decided to open a pub after he retired from the military. It keeps his mind off all the things he witnessed and keeps him busy enough. One night while he is working, he meets a woman and is immediately captivated by her. He's never felt an attraction like this before and he makes up his mind to find out why.
