This audiobook provides a solid education on the fundamentals, as well as lays out the specifics of how to hold assets for the long term (versus shorter term trading strategies). Good stuff!

Great beginner book!

I listened to this with my 19 year old on the way back to college, we both really enjoyed it. I liked the chapter in saving fees, and the history of how the best invest. I really appreciate the history and love looking at super log term trends. My son really enjoyed chp 7 - Passive Investing. No doubt because he is busy with school and college sports. He talked about implementing several of these strategies over Christmas break, and seeing how "passive" it would be! Thanks for a great listen... I will be purchasing several paperbacks for Christmas gifts!

The information in this recording seems sound. The recording, however, sounds very much like a machine reader that is available online nowadays, and not a good one! Words are mispronounced and sometimes broken in half, plus the expected cadence of live human speech is not really present all the time which is a telltale sign. Overall, you can understand what is being said and the missed words are not in crucial places.
