Parson's Manor: Maggie's Story

Maggie has been planning for years and has finally found the right property with an abandoned, but structurally sound, house. Can she make it into the house she needs to house and nurture aged-out foster children? Years of social work experience has taught her the need, but can she really make a dent in the problem?

Divorced more than twenty years ago from Tommy Parsons, that sweet, blue-eyed folk singer she met in college, who turned into a big-deal star. She'd had children to raise, and a career to develop, leaving no time for men in her life.

Now she has to tell her three adult children what she's doing with the money that they might have thought they were inheriting. They'll be fine with that won't they? They had all been fine after Tommy left them decades ago, at least after a while.

Her master plan turns out to have a few holes in it, first that she doesn't have the skills to pull together a whole house, whole mansion really, renovation, and second that the general manager she hires might be even more important in her life than just the person who helps her create Parson's Landing.
