Resumen del Editor

When NYPD detective Callum Doyle’s partner is murdered, and then his replacement is also brutally killed, suspicion falls on Doyle himself. Then he receives an anonymous message: This is just the beginning. Anyone he gets close to will die - and that includes his family.

Desperate to find out who is responsible, but with his every move putting others in danger, Doyle has to ask himself: how low would he sink in order to get his life back?

Could be the start of a good series

Could be the start of a good series. But I was a little put off at the start when Callum Doyle, the main character, informed a murdered cop's wife of his murder in a sloppy, unprofessional manner creating more duress for the widow. Then he informs his own wife in the curt, professional way he should have done with the widow. There were also a number of comments/demands from and considerations given to Doyle's wife that didn't fit well with the role and thought process of a police detective or his wife and tended to undermine the credibility of Callum the main character. Found myself using it as background noise a few times. Maybe the next one will be a little more polished?
