Not suffering
Left after the introduction when the author talked about children “suffering” from conditions like autism, ADHD and sensory processors disorders. My kids have autism and ADHD and their brains are wired differently. They don’t suffer from conditions - this is a part of them and how they see the world. No doubt there are challenges, but they also have great strengths and I don’t want to hear any experts referring to them as suffering!
