Acerca de esta escucha
A journey of learning and adaptation. It has taught us the power of emotional connection and the importance of advocating for our children’s needs. Through patience, understanding, and perseverance, I didn’t simply want this to be a book of facts, but it to be a book of our travels and some of the things we found, even the difficult things. All with a little humor.

A Great Resource for ADHD parents!
A refreshing audiobook that offers practical guidance for parents raising sons with ADHD. Author Patrick Steadman shares personal insights from his own journey, making this book more than just a collection of facts. The tips and insights provided are easy to understand and offer valuable strategies for handling behavior and academics in boys and teens with ADHD. This audiobook not only highlights challenges but also showcases how they can be turned into successes. I found the chapter on ADHD and suicide risks particularly enlightening, as it addressed an important but often overlooked topic.

If you're searching for a well-presented, simple, practical, and highly useful resource for understanding ADHD in boys, this is the book for you. I appreciated the no-nonsense approach that also included some humor and periodic biblical sources. Each chapter focuses on an area of life that inevitably will be encountered. This is a resource that will be referred to again and again.

A must have resourse
"Parenting Guide to Raising ADHD Boys" offers a dual approach to ADHD - the one based on scientific research and the other one based on the spiritual wisdom of biblical teachings. I love this wholistic, comprehensive approach to nurturing and guiding a child with ADHD.
The author is telling us a story of his own family's routines, struggles and victories with his ADHD son and that makes the book super relatable.
Apart from being invaluably informative, the book is so optimistic and hope enforcing, it's an absolute pleasure to listen. It's a true family story of embracing the reality, getting emotionally stronger as a family and sharing their experience with anyone who needs to hear it.
Great book!
