A Collection of Revelations

How did Jesus' disciples really feel about Mary Magdalene? Were the disciples comfortable with a woman being “on the road” with them? What are the consequences of not forgiving someone? What is heaven like and what would a heavenly choir actually sound like? Does God laugh? Does Jesus have a sense of humor or tell jokes? What does Godly leadership look like? What does love look like?

I have always been an insatiably curious person. Since my early teen years I have been asking and pondering a variety of questions and, more often than not, God will give me very interesting answers. Often these answers are like riddles or parables that not only quench my immediate thirst, but also leave me hungry for more. Life is never a destination, it’s a journey. Destinations are actually pretty boring.

PARABLES is a collection of a few of these revelations I’ve had over the last forty years or so. They take all manner of forms; stories, poems and sometimes, just more questions. This is the fourth edition of this book because the process continues, as it should, and many of the old revelations have been updated or replaced altogether. I hope you will find some small joys and perhaps even some interesting revelations for yourself.
