Crime thriller

Out of the Fog by Alison Lyle is a great crime thriller. Sarah Kuklis did a great job with the narration. The story is interesting, thrilling, exciting, heart pounding, entertaining, engaging, and more. Out of the Fog is part of Behind Closed Doors Collection. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Highly recommend.

Dark, Unsettling, and Perfect

Out of the Fog is the kind of psychological thriller that keeps you slightly off-balance the entire time—in the best way. The twists were completely unexpected, and the story takes turns I genuinely did not see coming. It’s a true mind-bender without ever feeling confusing or messy.
What really stood out in the audiobook was the narration. The narrator did an excellent job conveying the emotional states of the characters—the fear, doubt, paranoia, and slow unraveling felt incredibly real. You don’t just hear the story; you feel it. That emotional delivery added an extra layer of tension that made it hard to stop listening.
The plot is smart, dark, and unsettling in a way that lingers after you’re done. If you enjoy psychological thrillers that play with perception, control, and reality, this one absolutely delivers.

Great listen.

I absolutely loved listening to this story. Nice mind f**k. If you're into that kind of story, then this is the one for you. Very entertaining. Loved the characters. Happy listening.

One twisted story

Boy does my head hurt after this one. There is so much going on that you really have to pay attention. Even i started to feel crazy from trying to figure out this book. The audio version was nice and easy to listen to. If you are wanting something to really focus on then this is it.
