Beautiful story, horrible performance

The story is beautiful and well written. There are a few gaps in the story such as no love scene. But the virtual voice narration is terrible. The flow of words and cadence is off. The phrase “tires fell from his eyes” is repeated multiple times. I want to see this author write more.
