Surprised by the narration

The story really appealed to me because of the subject and it is set in my neck of the woods. From the descriptions I know where the property is.

What really surprised me was the narration. AI has come a long way. I had forgotten it was a virtual voice. Not a typical artificial voice. Most local pronunciations were correct. Only a couple common slip ups that humans make.

A nice and short account

There's something I like about the non-fiction stories in that it just has a creepiness in how sincere it is told.

Scary and Bittersweet

I really enjoyed it. Not a fan of the AI reading but the book was well written and I enjoyed it very much.
