His only major prose work, published prior to assuming the highest office of the land, is an alleged expose of the strange liaison between a revolutionary firebrand and a dictatorial general. The resulting book poses more questions than answers. With the assistance of his award-winning investigative correspondent husband and two friends he involves along the way, our protagonist stumbles onto evidence of a plot far more sinister than the original purpose of his assignment. Information culled from a ravishing ex-model as well as an eccentric diaper-wearing tycoon lend zaniness to the narrative.
