Put on some makeup and a dress and dance for a bunch of drunk guys? It sounds simple. But now that I'm standing here in front of the crowd? Now, I know there's no way I can do this.

My best friend suddenly has enough money for everything he's ever wanted. A massive television, every new game, and a sound system so loud his neighbors want him arrested. But I can't figure out how he's done it. He has a dead-end job just like me. How can he afford all this?

Then he tells me his secret. A weekend job dressing in drag at a local bar. He swears it's the easiest money he's ever made. I can't imagine him lowering himself to this, but then I think about my bills. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad after all. It's just a little dancing, right? It's not like I'll do anything more than that...

not my type of book

I just didn't think the book was about trans community. so I was a little disgusted but the writing itself was good definitely painted the picture
