What's with the fillers?
I saw a lot of good reviews for this book, But I just feel like it has so many filler stories in it. About the mother and best friends past. But what is the point? the author isn't alluding to the reasoning for spending all this time on backstory. some finish the book cuz I'm just bored with all this story going nowhere.
