But it also revisits some of the most painful memories of Anita's life, from the lengths that Elvis' manager took to shield their relationship from the public to the heartache and betrayal that made her realize that the fairy tale had to end.

Seems Honest

The book reminds us that there is room for all kinds of love in our lives. Anita passed away last year. I bet Elvis still sees her in Heaven from time to time!

I loved hearing Anita’s daughter read the text because she sounded so much like her mother. I remember when Anita was with Elvis one could tell how much she loved him. Her eyes were joyful so full of love. I hurt for her when things went awry. Elvis was always such a child. I know he regretted it. He said so in so many ways. The title says it all. Thank you

Did not know this book existed!

I am an Elvis Presley Fan and when i found out that Anita Wood Brewer’s daughter had written a Memoir on her behalf I had to purchase it immediately! I was not disappointed. Such a lovely story!

Did not know about his first girlfriend

Liked this story she did a great job telling her mother’s story. Probably should have stayed together.
