Clever, Funny, Heartwarming

A lovely little slice-of-life about somebody in over their head but trying very, very hard. Thoroughly enjoyable.

The only warning I would give is that if you find surgical or medical issues unpleasant, then you might find the story very squeamish at times. Or if you are very sympathetic towards animals, there are some moments of cruelty (which is, of course, tragically very human), I found those hard to listen to, but the story was engaging enough to keep me going.

I highly recommend it.
