Each chapter was unique and carefully crafted. You will enjoy it and I highly recommend it.

Concise messages of the plain & simple TRUTH

Loved it. simple truths about WHY He came and how it relates to you and me. each message , short and to the point. To stay on track during CHRISTmas, we all need to hear.

Best Christmas Book

The message in this book is one everyone needs! It is engaging and well written. I forget the real gift of Christmas too often! I will make this book a Christmas tradition to remind me of why I celebrate Christmas.

The Title Says it All

Each author, all well know Christian writers, have such insightful knowledge of the Bible and people.
I think their messages can help us all see how we can live more fulfilling and purposeful lives.
Maurice England is so delightful to listen to. I'll read this again next December.

Taking back Christ Mass!

Excellent narration. I’ve made a personal decision this year to take back Christ Mass! This audio was a great start in helping me achieve my goal. Very uplifting and puts things in the right prospective. MARY Christ Mass to All!

loved the insights

I loved the insights shared about Mary and Jesus's father. There are many other inspiring insights too!

Sanctimonious, Not Uplifting

I have owned this audio book for 3 Christmas seasons. Every year, I start to try it again, and every year I am turned off by how "holier-than-thou" it comes across, sanctimonious (almost smug in tone!). It's not encouraging or uplifting. Given the horrid allegations (which I personally believe to be true) against Bill Hybels by numerous women, I can't stand to listen to anything written by him. (On a side note, I didn't know who Bill Hybels was prior to purchasing this audiobook). Also, the "awe shucks" drawl of the narrator is off putting. Pass on this audiobook.

Old fashioned

The first chapter is good but disappointed by the rest. Old fashioned theology on the whole , and fundamentalist in parts

Sentimental and Shallow

Because of my fond memories of reading Max Lucado in the 2000's, I thought this might be an enjoyable read while I was out and about during the holidays. I was sadly disappointed. This collection of old sermons seemed so out of touch and shallow.
