oems emerge straight from the heart and into print, as Ms. Rossi portrays her struggles with common emotions such as jealousy, insecurity, searching for contentment, fear of aging and ultimately, fear of death. The author is simply human and not afraid to show it. Through poems she navigates her dark feelings and emotions, weighing the consequences of ones actions; eventually showing courage in making the right moral decision, not surrendering to a current mood or emotion. Going against most conventional wisdom of giving in to our every whim, Ms. Rossi conquers by going down the right path; whether she feels like it or not, at the time. The poems are not only for the religious amongst us, but for the spiritual as well. For less than the price of a coffee, a lovely alternative to a pick-me-up for the day.
