Resumen del Editor

Shiver me timbers!

The mysterious new leader of the Brightlings is after a secret weapon. The catch? It's hidden somewhere in Voltis, a forbidden place where violent elemental forces will slap you around like a redheaded stepchild. Naturally, Justin can't let that happen and convinces Elyssa, Shelton, and Adam to tag along, because who doesn't want to ride a flying ship into hurricane-force winds while lightning tries to rip you a new one?

Based on a true story (it isn't), Ominous Odyssey is an inspiring story about why world domination is best left to the professionals.

Why isn’t this a television series yet?💜

Seriously, if this was on television I’d have just finished season 13 anticipating season 14. Between the great writing and the brilliant narration, I can’t seem to get enough of this series. Book 13 has brought in some amazing new characters and I can’t wait to see where they will take us.
Fantastic book/series. I highly recommend starting with book 1 and reading in order to enjoy this series to the fullest. Well done!

Can be a bit grating

At least once per book -
The great and revered Commander of the Templar / Good guy armies - who's supposedly a master strategist thousands of years old - gets completely out-maneuvered, cornered, blindsided by the enemies and his army decimated. He should have been fired like 30x as supreme commander.

Justin and - usually with his girlfriend, one of the most powerful people in existence and the main hero that the fate of all the worlds depends on - gets routinely kidnapped / abducted / knocked out by - darts, golems, vampires , vines, crystal throwing stars, poison gas. All the baddies have to do is kill him, world conquered. But they never do . Instead all plans get revealed , he escapes, etc. He's been captured and helpless , but escaped or released after plans are revealed to him more than Adam Wests' Batman and James Bond combined.

Each of the above two scenarios happens pretty much every book. Plenty of good, and bad other things - but those two tropes are just getting so very tired. Mr. Corwin, please use some new plot devices.
