Everyone in Field Rise knows not to wander onto the Ackers farm. The monstrous tales of that inbred family have been told for generations. Some say the soil is still dark with blood from the living scarecrows that Seth Ackers made of anyone who crossed his path.
But not all of its secrets were unearthed, as Police Chief Mike Haberlay realises when a property developer attempts to reclaim the abandoned land. What he discovers causes the evil entombed below the farm to spread its tendrils once more.

I can't get enough David Haynes

I haven't found a David Haynes book yet I haven't liked. It all my favorite creature feature, b movie schlock, accept it's well executed and we'll written. He is one of my new favorite authors, he, Ronald Malfi, Catriona Ward, and Grady Hendrix. Seems I'll enjoy anything they put out.

That being said, David, Glocks and Colt Pythons don't have manual safeties. Nor are Rammstein thrash metal, haha. Still, love the story. Can't wait for more.
