is he a soldier or a marine?

love the story, and the author, I've enjoyed most of his books but as a vet I wish he'd pick which service aj fought with at area 51 he was a marine and was 2 different mos in the army, don't care what he can do just be one, or I guess we can have multiple tours changing branches whatever

Good story

Some of the character reactions are a little overdramatic, (the military officers especally) but overall a good light story

Fun sequel

This is a fun sequel to Junkyard Pirate. I hope there will be more in the series!

nice story and very likeable characters. perfect narration. All in all wonderful imagination and entertainment!

Book 2 was just as good if not better than Book 1!

Great second book as the story lined continued. I will have to listen to both books again to soak more of them in. I hate to see the adventure end but maybe there will be a book three I hope!

Scify is disease, war, to body snatures and humor?

This was fun to listen to. Usually I turn a blind eye to these kinds of tall tales with piss and vinager and repeating paragraphs due to (maybe) a lack of memory or dyslexia that I sffer from? But I still enjoy so many other aspects of this two tale novels of this interesting adventure novels that it would be wonderful if this author would go back and write a 3rd novel?

Then convincing the same narrator to reading another story about more like the other 2 novels. Bring these chactors back together again? Is that too much? Maybe that's a little overboard, but I live near the ocean and play guitar? How much fun is that?

Still and entertaining, but a little lacking

This book felt a little rushed. I did not agree with some of the leaps in logic or character reactions, especially with the Jane and Thomas debacle. In the first book I found myself giggling quite a lot whereas in this one I found myself saying no more often than not. I am still continuing on I will finish the series because I am still enjoying it, and would like to know where it goes.
