Shiori is working hard to complete the rituals that will ensure he succession to the Shinatian throne she is meant to inherit, but her final ritual is interrupted by dire tidings of an Arfodelian invasion that is already within the country’s borders. Once she realises that no one believes her claims that Arfodel has invaded their shores and needs to be stopped, she decides to take things into her own hands. The only problem is that her father has confined her to the castle grounds while he concocts one of his schemes to get her married off in exchange for military support from a neighbouring country. To top it all off, Shinji, her bodyguard, gets imprisoned in the dungeons. Will Shiori be able to get herself out of this predicament, free Shinji and manage to solve the oracle given to her by the pool of the future before the well-hidden, invading Arfodelian army destroys the country she has come to love?
