Acerca de esta escucha
His birth was likened to that of John the Baptist in the Bible as such; he was seen as a child of consolation and fulfillment. And as such, he was thought to be appropriately and properly named: OMONOTHOSE OROBO DAVIDSON.
And according to the local language, those names- Omonothose Orobo, meaning A child who totally resembles the father and who must be petted and treated as a sacred child of destiny.
So, with time at age 6, Omonothose Orobo migrated with his father and mother to the urban city of Ibadan, Oyo state Nigeria for greener pasture.
As with other growing children, Omonothose was enrolled into the primary school. But unlike the other children enrolled with him, Orobo spent extra three years before managing to complete his primary school.
And to confirm the negative trends, Orobo begin to show different unwanted signs of child delinquency that were very obvious both at home, community and at the day secondary school he was attending.
OMONOTHOSE: THE CARBON COPY CHILD
First, it was discovered that he always stayed late after school while other children get back from school early, which was just a short distance away from their home. Orobo Omonothose was also discovered to always hide extra clothing which he changes at interval between the home and the school. And to compound it all, he was also showing signs of drugs abuse, smoking and stealing both at home and from his peers at school.
These obvious signs of delinquency at this age became a serious concern to the parents of Omonothose Orobo. The mother Mrs. Rose Davidson became so worried and depressed seeing her only male child and hope deviating from the normal and expected lifestyle and behavior of a decent growing young adult.
Thus, to help restore her child and solve these challenges, she took it upon herself to seek for spiritual, medical, traditional and psychological help.
First, she tried medical assistance which obviously was not what the medical science could solve and handled.
Thereafter, she went to several churches and prayer houses with her only child-Omonothose Orobo for spiritual assistance and deliverance prayers. But all seemed to yield no much result as the child’s condition kept worsening. Just to make sure she get her child back, out of desperation, she went wild and met many traditional herbalists both within Nigeria and in other Africa countries who prescribed different concoctions and sacrifices but to no avail.
