Nyssa Glass and the house of mirrors is the first book in an exciting steampunk series.
Nyssa Glass is an teenage genius who just wants to leave her life of crime behind her. I love her attitude, that even on the worst day of her life she doesn't give up, she just keeps looking for a solution.
The whole plot is well constructed, it keeps moving and never lags. You will be shocked at the twists it takes.
Mary Ann Weathers is one of my favorite narrators her range of voices is amazing, making each character distinct and different.

Fun quick read
The story is entertaining and steampunk without being alienating to those unfamiliar with the genre. The narration is OK, the differentiations aren’t terribly great and I didn’t realize one of the characters was male until later on due to the similarity invoices. This is YA appropriate (PG if a movie if all details are accounted for) and a fun little mystery to boot. If you’re on the fence, go for it. —I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
