I love how informative this book was, the tips sound easy to follow and can't wait to implement them into nursing school in the fall

Great prep book before school

This book eased my anxiety before starting nursing school. Great tips on how to study and improve time management skills. Overall I would definitely recommend this book to future nursing students.

Helpful and reassuring.

I’m starting nursing school in January and was recommended the book before starting. I felt like it has helpful tips and advice, while being honest. It also helped ease my anxieties about starting.

Worth a read

I am on the one month line of starting nursing school & attempting to sponge up any tips for this journey. I have heard many a suggestions to start study groups. This has never worked well for me in the past & I was stressed that it would hinder me in nursing school. It was a relief to finally hear someone say that study groups are a waste of my time & my success is not dependent on them. Then provide alterative ways to study that would be better used in my limited time. I have been practicing nclex questions this entire summer, & happy to hear that this is how you succeed in nursing school. Opposed to the many peers that told me I was wasting my time doing so.
I have added a few more things to do before school starts because of this book. As well as essential items to buy before school starts that will make a difference. I am also excited about the additional resources & planner mentioned in the book & will report back if they are useful!
Thank you for the tips & suggestions, I would recommend to any new nursing student/new nursing grad.

Very beneficial organization and study tips!!

the author gives a huge variety of study strategies, for all learning types. I will be enter the RN program next semester, and I plant to utilize ALL of her ideas! I love the idea of creating your own audio flashcards and I completely agree that large study groups are more of a social events then useful study session.

This book provided strategies for staying organized and on top of school work, and what to expect from nursing school. I feel less anxious and more prepared to start school in the spring.

Great Prep for Any Student

Just got accepted into nursing school and heard through last week's podcast that this was available on audible so obviously I had to immediately grab it and binge listen. This has given my nerves some ease and I'm prepped more than ever for school!
