Acerca de esta escucha

Author's note: When I began to write the book over five years ago, the Sackler family was very powerful. I was fearful of their power at that time. Therefore, I created a "fictional story" based on true facts about the history of how the opioid epidemic was created. The Muckler family was a depiction of the Sackler family.

The book was written before Donald Trump coined the phrase "The Swamp". The FDA, DEA, NIH, CDC and Congress all helped the Sacklers in creating the explosive growth of the prescription drug epidemic. My intent was to see the book become a movie so the mass audience would understand the corrupt complicity from our trusted Federal Agencies and Congressional members.

Unfortunately, this book has been silenced. The media, publishers and Hollywood have no interest in revealing the Sackler family unless it is "Swamp Approved". After reading the book, you will have a better understanding of the evolution over time how drugs, both legal and illegal, have destroyed so many lives and families. Over five years later, the book remains timely.

Jeremy Spencer was 23 and graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering in 1993. Within two years he unknowingly was in charge of producing a new miracle pain killer as powerful as heroin. The book follows his twelve year career with the most diabolical pharmaceutical company in history. Love, loss, deceit, lies, political corruption and murder are intertwined within Jeremy's twelve years. Not Safe As Prescribed combines a love story with revealing the time line that led to the pharmaceutical masterminds who created the biggest medical hoax since the legal introduction of heroin in 1898. A modern love story filled with respect, growth and humor...................... A mixture of truth, human insights and fiction explains North America's love of drugs........ The book will keep you guessing on what public figure will be referenced next............. Insight on how America's 21st century opium epidemic started.................... A fascinating book that brings clarity to the partnership of Washington D.C. and Pharma......... An explanation on how compassion has been manipulated for profit and death.................. The complicity of the FDA, DEA and Congress to foster addiction and death.......... Not Safe as Prescribed reveals the inner board room of Pharma.................. The silence from the medical profession is revealed............................ Not Safe as Prescribed should be mandatory reading on every college campus........ Book may go down in history with the writings of Upton Sinclair and Samuel Hopkins Adams..
