Wonderful!
I really loved how Lucado explains the significance of the cross to me. God really plans out everything! I happened to come across this audiobook a bit after I committed my life to Christ. I found so many answers while listening and it has inspired me to read the Bible more to know more about Jesus!

Still wisdom to be had
Enjoyed this when it first came out 30 years ago. Some of the verbiage is a bit dated (we don't hear the word "housewife" much anymore) but the short lessons in each chapter stand the test of time. If you're looking for a devotional book that has quick chapters and encourages you to have a genuine relationship with God and people, this is a good choice. Max Lucado does a wonderful job of being engaging and germane.

Speechless
This beautiful story of our Savior, will stir every emotion you have. I do own the book, and have read it many times. I was thrilled to find it on Audible. This beautiful story is wonderfully narrated. I just completed listening to it, in it's entirety. I will no doubt listen many more times. Max Lucado has a gift of telling a true story in such a way that it truly touches your heart. My thanks to Max for this great book, and to Amazon for offering it. You will never look at the "Cross" the same. A must read!
