Resumen del Editor

My name is Dima, and I'm a Dragon. I'm also going to die soon. It's a battle I've waged most of my life, but now the odds are looking crappy. Before I go up flames, I have to find a way to save my horde and make sure my secret treasure is safe. There is one way I could stick around a bit longer, but the men I've met aren't exactly lining up to save me.

What in hell does a Dragon Princess have to do to find a mate? Offing my father, the reviled Dragon King, would be one way to go. He has a penchant for eliminating any male who shows interest - not to mention he's been trying to kill me for almost 500 years. So my brilliant plan is to take out my father in a blaze of glory - pun intended. However, I have to suck it up and do some stuff I don't want to do. For example, getting along with Dragons who don't trust me is a horrific challenge even though we share the same goal. That's why I aligned myself with the ragtag pack of shifters who accepted me and my secret treasure unconditionally. They're my friends now, and I'm keeping them. I'll fry anyone who dares to speak against my Werewolves, my Werecows, and the fabulous gay Vampyre named Dwayne.

Unfortunately the Weres who love me don't have the kind of firepower I need to take out my father. To get that I have allied myself with a dangerous group of Dragons known as The Resistance. Staying away from the sexy, pompous, fire-breathing blowhard of a leader is turning out to be a full-time job. And no...he's not even in the running for the mate. Mutual incineration would be inevitable - or sexual combustion. You see...Dragons aren't the easiest of the species to get along with. You can dress us up and take us out, but at the end of the day we're still the idiots who like a little friendly bloodshed and sex - make that lots of sex.

My life keeps getting more and more complicated, but I've run out of options. I'm about to run out of time, too. I'm learning there's nowhere to run and nowhere to hide from destiny.

Always a ride

I have to say that this series is the best. Books just keep getting better and the actors are unbelievable and wonderful.

I’d really appreciate more books

I just reread this book and others by this author and remembered how much I love the humor.

People whom dish others narrations

Would you listen to No Were to Run again? Why?

People whom dish others narrations should record them selves and listen to see if they can do better!

Narration is fine!

The story is told from the dragon woman's POV and it is a nice story with laugh out loud parts and poignant moments. The narrator is different than first two books, but it is well-done. I like the main character's voice and her child's voice is super adorable. The only issue I have is the interpretation of the character Junior. The narrator and/or director decided to interpret the Mensa-smart Junior as having a very hick voice. I think that was a mistake but in no way ruins the book. I enjoyed it quite a lot.

series

I didn't like the change in voices from books 1&2 to book 3. when it's a great series like this as listeners it helps to keep the voices the same. we fall in love with those characters to learn knew characters all over again. its like it's new characters when its not. but wonderful and excellent story line.

Love the story

Loved the continuation of this series, but I didn’t like the narrator as much as the previous one. She wasn’t bad, but some of the tones and accents were off.

Terrible Narration

Sorry to say it but, I could not finish listening. I’m sure the story was just as good as the other two proceeding books. Abby Craden is just not that great of a narrator. The anguish in her voice is hard to listen to, as well as her changing of the characters voices. Essie sounded like a smoker and Granny sounded like she was a brittle “human”. Her men’s voices are too scratchy. Again, sorry to say it, but this book should be narrated again by Hollie (the original narrator).

Run Were and Dragons

Dima, a Dragon of royal decent, has been on the run to protect herself from her father for over 400 years. In order to survive she needs to mate, or die. She doesn't mind dying, so long as she can kill her father in her last act of revenge before she dies. Due to her fathers control in the Dragon world, she can't trust any of them.

Finding it hard to trust anyone, Dima befriends the most unusual group of misfit Were family ever. Werewolves, Werecows, Wererabbits, and most famously the most flamboyant gay vampire of all time, Dwayne. Individually they're all nuts, but together they're a passionate and loyal family, and Dima's newly adopted family.

When the Dragons resistant team recruits Dima to help them unthrown her father, Dima agrees, so long as they accept her new allied family of misfit Were's. Dragons aren't know to be the easiest to get along with, but when Dima meets the General, another Dragon shifter, she isn't taking his crap regardless of how strong and sexy he is. Dima has her own agenda and set of priorities and if the General doesn't agree to join her, then she'll do it on her own...even if it means that things get more complicated.

Abby Craden does a fantastic job narrating Dima's trials and tribulations as a strong woman trying to make it on her own with her merry-were'men, were'women, were'cows, and the ever precious diva Dwayne.

Writing and characters save a poor narrator

I enjoyed the story more than expected. Other reviews had me worried but I thought the plot was good and the characters were fun. I thought the narration was horrible. I liked the narrator from the first two books and I thought this narrator would have been better if sticking to similar voices. Chartered voices were either over the top stereotypes or bland efforts. For me the wiring carried the performance.

another great book

Once again Robyn Peterman has delivered. This is another great book in a series that is hilarious, well written, and full of great and very interesting characters. I can't wait for the next one.
