I have to give 4 stars for story. the first books kept saying 396 years had passed. the last few books changed that to 200 years.

The story is good.

The narration is a bit drole but I've come to like it! but I've come to expect it also.

One HELL of a ride!

Wonderful conclusion to this part of the saga of Sheriff Duke. Lots of action packed thrills full of twist and turns.

Addicting

This is my second time listening to this captivating book. I did not know it was the third book in a series the first time. This book got me involved in a series of books by this author. I can not get enough.

Predictable but still a good book

If you’ve read his The Forgotten series this book is predictable. However, even seeing where this book was going I still liked it. Felt driven to keep listening.

Review - Will have a spoiler

So I met the Sheriff randomly and liked the story.. so then I started listening to the whole series in order - even relistening to the one that I first stumbled across. For the most part, I really like it. I have a hard time with some of the character development and investment that leads to what feels like a quick and lazy death. But in this world..it happens.. so I get it.. ok so here is the spoiler part.. you have been warned..

one thing I did notice was that in the 2nd book of the Forgotten Series.. the Sheriff gets a new eye.. an augment that allows him to see more.. also he is gassed with a chemical that enhances his abilities... but the third book does not mention those enhancements at all..and he never utilizes his eye the way he did in the second book..I thought that was strange and I was a bit disappointed at the oversight.

The Forgotten Fallout series was incredible, it had great action and a exciting storyline, I can't wait for the next sheriff Hayden Duke book, hopefully it's soon!

I like all three books but you should have kept the original Max from the first book the guy from the second book he's trying too hard he's irritating keep doing what you do
