This might be the best installment yet...

I came across this series by chance and I am so glad I did! The first book had me so glued to the story I listened to it in one session. Each sequel has had its share of excitement, twists and adventures, but this one had me from hello, all over again.

Zara Ramm's narration has once again brought the story to life perfectly. I was delighted to learn the short stories are now available in audio too.

Well done, Ms. Taylor, as a reader all I can say is... "An honour and a privilege" -- and I can hardly wait for the next one!

I love this whole series! The characters have become friends I don't get to visit nearly as often as I would like to enjoy their cheerfully snarky way of meeting every event - whether good or downright disastrous. In the midst of a very tense moment, I find myself laughing out loud at some comment by Max or one of the others. I must stop reading these books around other people; my friends are beginning to wonder about me

This was the best St Mary's and Max ever!

I have loved this entire series - the adventures and intrigue with great characters! And I would listen to Zara read a phone book! No one else could make these characters come alive like Zara. This book was packed with spot on accents and lively two -three - sometimes five characters switching back and forth in conversation! Amazing and fun - a pleasure to get totally lost in their world!

I recommend this for any and everyone.

Can't wait for the next installment!

Third time through and still dazzling

Witty, exciting and a little bit silly. A great romp and great historical detail too.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the entire series and this one was no exception. The descriptions are clear and vivid and the travels full of adventure. I love the humor, esp Max's. Zara is an excellent reader and has Max down to perfection.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. But first read books 1-4. Love the characters. The author makes you feel like you are there.

What was one of the most memorable moments of No Time Like the Past?

When Bitchfaced Bsrkley shows up and confronts Max. We are all susceptible but Max seems to have more than her share. I live the way the entire group rally around each other in tines of crisis.

Which character – as performed by Zara Ramm – was your favorite?

I love them all but especially Max and Dr. Barstow. The narrator is excellent with every one.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No crying but the scene in the barn and the last scene were especially poignant.

I'd recommend this book and this author to anyone who enjoys light adventure with a sophisticated twist. Yet there is romance, mayhem, and time travel.

Always entertaining.

Just please write the next one! You're not keeping up! I love this series and it makes me want to travel to places I haven't been yet.

Although the author rips at your heart from time to time, she also makes people look at me funny, as I wander about the grocery store giggling madly.
Narrator is absolutely top notch!!

Absolutely fabulous

I have loved this series from the first. It is adventurous, suspenseful and charming. Maxwell will make you shake your head and Malcolm and Peterson will make you hold your breath. If you like history with a lot of British humor than you would love this.
