Heart-Lifting, Hilarious, Life-Changing Book!

I really enjoyed “No Room in a Box” all the way through! I listened to it on audiobook, which is also recommended bc it is narrated by Link Tipton himself, so you get to hear the actual voice and heart. I was doing yard work for several hours listening to it non-stop. For the first half of the book, I literally was probably laughing more than I wasn’t. His small town life memoirs resonated with me so much.

About halfway through, a whole different set of emotions got hit. Still a healthy dose of laughs sprinkled nicely, but sometimes I also felt convicted, a sobered sense of holiness, LOTS of vulnerability (which is a very powerful way to touch hearts- which he did!), challenged, sometimes some feelings of sadness too. Link has a way of storytelling that keeps you engaged with his mix of comedy, adventure, rawness that holds nothing back, humility, and honestly, lots of brass balls to go to the scary places he was willing to take us that are needed but very few would be willing to lead.

He hits everything from childhood adventures and amazing pranks, to conviction to walk close to God in all things, to golden nuggets about godly marriage and parenting, to being utterly honest about navigating dynamics with close loved ones who struggle with darkness and how to love unconditionally without compromising personal convictions. Link Tipton nailed it in “No Room in a Box”! In a way I don’t think anyone else could have done. This book will bless many different types of people who will resonate, or be challenged, in many varying ways. Get it and don’t wait to start listening!

I just finished listening to No Room in a Box, and I don’t even know where to begin… I laughed… I cried… I prayed… and I walked away feeling like I knew Link, his wife, and his kids even deeper than I already did. I’ve known this family for years, but hearing Link share his story in his own words opened up a whole new level of appreciation and love for who he is and the faith that guides him.

This book is powerful. It’s honest. It’s vulnerable. And it is overflowing with Jesus from beginning to end. Link’s faith is steady, strong, and unwavering… even in the dark moments he was brave enough to talk about. That takes courage most people never show, and the way he does it makes you feel seen, encouraged, and inspired to trust God in your own journey.
