Micheal Maxwell is at the top of his game with his new novel No Road Home.
Through a series of misunderstandings and cruel twists of fate, Sam Grodin, loses his identity and is given a ten-year detour that finds him with no way home.
Sam loses the thing most dear to him, his fiancé Mary. As he tries to find his way in a country foreign to him, he comes to rely on his wit, courage, and undying belief in the faith his grandparents instilled in him.
This family saga takes us from Texas to deep into the South American jungle, and we are faced with the question; If we were to lose everything, could we find a new road and a way to rise above the hand fate has dealt us? It is said, “Sometimes Satan comes as an angel of light.” Proving what we find as an answer can be far from it.
Love is Sam’s motivation for survival, and fate’s twisted sense of humor is his greatest reward.
