Great!!!
I've definitely been a fan of Sarah Kay for several years now and have always loved her poetry. Listening to her speak is always very soothing and I'm glad to have purchased this audiobook. While I do enjoy her live performances, I didn't like how it broke up the studio recordings of her poetry. Overall, it was still pretty fantastic!!

Sarah Kay's Spoken Word
What a gift to have Sarah's poems in her own voice. Some of these are live performances, which is incredibly special. This is the next best thing to seeing her live. I only wish the chapters were labeled with the poem names.

Sarah Kay is the reason I am still a poet. she awoke the sleeping beast and I have not been able to write it back to sleep yet. This book is all of her best poetry, and I absolutely recommend it.

The Perfect Words for Everything You’ve Ever Felt
I cannot thank one of my office book club buddies enough for picking this little gem. In a word, it’s therapeutic. Sarah masterfully revives memories of experiences that we all had, but don’t quite remember how they made us feel. It’s not just love and loss, but your first sighting of a jellyfish. The sound of your favorite teacher’s voice. The first time you saw one of your parents cry.
