I have invested 40 years in pastoral ministry, chaplaincy, and working with the Indiana State Crisis Response Team, the St. Louis Police Department's Hostage Response Unit, the Boulder County, Colorado, Star Team, and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department’s Victim Assistance Unit. I currently serve as the chaplain for the Indianapolis Wayne Township Fire Department. I have been deployed by DHS, FEMA, and the Red Cross to work with survivors of natural and man-made disasters. I have combined my own experience and work with thousands of people in crisis to develop this series and resources. These principles work. I have watched broken people get healed through understanding God’s truth and how he created us to respond to Him.
