Very entertaining story and performance

I really love the way Nicole Snow writes. This book has wonderful, entertaining characters. some mystery and some romance. I love the happily ever after ending.

good book, good narration

Overall I liked this book. I mostly listened to the audiobook (whispersync rocks) and the narration by Tor Thom and Rose Dioro was good. I have to admit Tor’s voice isn’t what I would have matched with Alaska but these two did a pretty good job.

The story has Alaska falling for Felicity, who is dealing with a horrible woman who has a vendetta against Felicity because of something her dad did. The story dragged a bit- there was so much drama as Felicity bemoaned her poor status in the town, what her father did, being a punching bag for a local crime syndicate, etc. Alaska was a sweet character, looking out for his son and her. But their romance just fell a little flat. That said, the action at the end was compelling and it was great to see the bad guys get their due. Overall, I enjoyed the story, both reading it and the narration.

Well worth the read. I didn't realize it was part of the series of a book that I had read a while back glad I decided to read it

Alaska & Felicity

Alaska is fitting for this character, the drama, danger, and overcoming his fears of choosing the wrong woman again. Felicity is cursed to bad luck and paying for her Father's addictions and sordid past, and a crazy woman who is determined to make her pay. in the end they finally get their HEA

Not my kind of book

Struggled to finish not enough action give MD Patterson Harvick mike Connelly mystery stuff like thet

Decent story that could be 1 hour less

I enjoyed the thriller aspects of this book, but it was hard to get on the side of the female main. Constantly thinking she’s not worth anything. Paxton made this a hunky summer read but his dirty talk was a little jarring—didn’t seem to fit with any of his other actions. Also the book could have been 1 hour less. There is literally nothing that happens in the last hour— so boring.

Boring and annoying

Love this author but this not her best work! Female character is very annoying! The whole time whining and repeatedly saying she is not cursed ! Male character is annoying questioning his decision! And all of it keep repeating!!!
